We had such a great experience at Sweet Memes! Our desserts were out quick and they were delicious. We went looking for crepes but found some Craffles, soufflés and layer cakes instead. Totally worth a stop.
Cute atmosphere, but not really an instant favorite for me. I started with a plain vietnamese coffee. It was $8.02 after suggested tip. I found it to be small, and lacking classic vietnamese coffee taste. It actually tasted a lot like a mocha, which was strange. I then got pancakes. They were just ok. Maybe not my style perhaps. Decorations were very fun. There are different areas for you to take pictures with your friends. Highly recommended for the atmosphere. There is no interaction with service, as you select and pay through a terminal. There is computer generated voice that calls your name when your order is ready, i found it to be a loud and annoying contribution to thw atmosphere.
Food - 5. Hands down their salted egg waffle is the best item here for me. Never had such combination of salted egg with ice cream over the waffle and rich salted egg taste to it. Super yummy! The soufflé was average, not too sweet and would have been a little bland without the ice cream over it. Durian crepe is good and has some durian taste. I love the popping boba in the smoothie. Crunchy and true to its name, the boba popped in your mouth. We also got their Hot Dizzie Vietnamese coffee which is curing and aromatic. Service -5 very fast from placing order to getting our food Ambience - 5+++ I would have given 10 if I could. Very beautiful, aesthetic decor. Great Instagram shots to take here!
If you're an old and don't know what "cheugy" means, go here and look around. This is THEE PLACE to take your ~ a e s t h e t i c ~ obsessed teen. You can't go wrong. Order at the very large screen kiosks and go take some selfies at the flower wall, or to the table in the corner with instagram-ready models of the desserts in perfect lighting. They call your name or number over the loudspeaker and you retrieve your food at the counter. We tried out lots of stuff on our visit! We got taro crepe cake, raindrop cake, and it was all very delicious, but very very sweet. This is a cute place for an afternoon with someone special, even if that person is just yourself.
This is a cute place though it's a bit in a dead area. I ordered from the kiosks by the door and the seating is open and plenty of space. When I went, it was late but filled with people bringing their kids so definitely a spot for either family, groups of friends, or even a casual date spot. I got the Japanese pancakes which were lovely. Lots of different options here!
